Attend School Board Meetings
Attend LISD School Board meetings to learn how decisions are
made concerning your children's education. Meetings are held
on the first and third Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. Work sessions
(first Thursday) are held at the LEO Cafeteria (300 S. West
Dr. in Leander, Room 112 ) while the
voting session (third Thursday) is held in the Cedar Park
Middle School cafeteria. (2100 Sun Chase Blvd, off of Cypress
Creek Rd. in Cedar Park). Citizen comments are welcome at
every LISD Board of Trustees meeting, with this public
comment period usually occurring at 6:15
on first Thursdays and around 7:00 p.m. on third Thursdays.

The Board packet, including suppporting documents such as budget and tax rate proposals, construction reports,
committee reports, etc., is posted electronically about two days before
each scheduled meeting. Download these documents from
