Overview: Learning skills and behaviors at the primary school level that start students off on the right foot to life-long learning.

Leander ISD Events of Note:

Attend School Board Meetings

Attend LISD School Board meetings to learn how decisions are made concerning your children's education. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. Work sessions (first Thursday) are held at the LEO Cafeteria (300 S. West Dr. in Leander, Room 112 ) while the voting session (third Thursday) is held in the Cedar Park Middle School cafeteria. (2100 Sun Chase Blvd, off of Cypress Creek Rd. in Cedar Park). Citizen comments are welcome at every LISD Board of Trustees meeting, with this public comment period usually occurring at 6:15 on first Thursdays and around 7:00 p.m. on third Thursdays.
Check the Board agenda on the
LISD website. The Board packet, including suppporting documents such as budget and tax rate proposals, construction reports, committee reports, etc., is posted electronically about two days before each scheduled meeting. Download these documents from BoardBook. Documents will be in PDF or Word format and some may be slow to download.
