Minutes of Regular Meeting

October 24, 2001

A regular meeting of the Leander Independent School District Academic Advocates Association was called to order at 7:00 PM on October 24, 2001.

  Officers present:  Elizabeth Frey, Chris Cavalli, Pam Manly, Walt Manly, and Chris Kay.

Prior Minutes:  The minutes of the September meeting were reviewed and approved as read.

Financial Report:  Walt Manly provided reports on the current financial status.  Copies of these reports are attached.

High School Campus Coordinator's Report:  Chris Kay reported that the Hall of Honor at Cedar Park High School is underway for the spring  "All A Honor Roll" students at that campus.

Presentation:   Donna McDonnell and Kathryn Helm, with LISD Instructional Services, presented a program on the district's math curriculum, followed by questions being taken from the membership. 

Adjournment:  The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 PM.
